Pamela Johnson is a community activist and anti-violence advocate in Jersey City, New Jersey. She believes strongly in investing in people and leading a progressive movement that focuses on moving communities forward, one family at a time. “It’s about standing together to do better for the entire community.”
Elvin Dominici Encarnación
WARD D
Elvin’s dedication to immigrant rights and city policy is further demonstrated by his work with the Jersey City Immigrant Affairs Commission, where he served as one of the inaugural board members. His efforts on the commission have focused on creating inclusive policies and ensuring that the voices of immigrants are represented in city governance.
Daniel Rivera
Council At Large
As Councilman at Large, Daniel has supported the economic and responsible growth of Jersey City and has a track record of advocating for the whole city while making sure it continues to grow. He has also helped lead the city to its largest period of economic growth in the city’s history with over 7,500 new jobs created, unemployment at a record low 3.8%, and development at an all time high with construction starts leading the state with over 10,000 units under construction.
Kristen Zadroga-Hart
Council At Large
Kristen was an Executive Board Member for the Jersey City Education Association and a Board Member for the Jersey City Recreation Foundation and currently serves as a Society Hill at Droyers Point HOA Board Trustees. Kristen was also named a Jersey City Woman of Action and a Jersey City Public Schools Teacher of the Year. Kristen has served as a delegate for the National Education Association, participated in the See Educators Run program and completed the Emerge NJ Training.

O’Dea Now Has Nearly $1 Million Cash on Hand for 2025 Mayoral Campaign
Hudson County Commissioner and Mayoral candidate Bill O’Dea now has nearly $1 Million cash on hand following another highly successful fundraising quarter. O’Dea banked approximately $180,000 in the past three months, continuing to build the resources necessary to run a strong citywide campaign in next year’s election for Mayor and City Council.

District 1199J endorses Commissioner O’Dea for Jersey City mayor
“We are pleased to inform you that upon the officers’ recommendations, our executive board and delegate assembly, District 1199J has endorsed your candidacy for Mayor of Jersey City,” 1199J President Susan Cleary said in a statement.
O’Dea leads rally demanding elevator repairs at 630 Bergen Ave. in Jersey City
“Over seven months ago, it was brought to our attention that this building here did not have an elevator and had not had an elevator at that time for 18 months,” O’Dea explained, referencing when he and HCV toured the building in mid-January.
